1 - What is this Policy about?
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal data necessary for us to provide the services available on our WEBSITE.

6 - How do we collect your Personal Data?
We will collect your personal data through the forms on the WEBSITE, but also through the WEBSITE and the communication it makes with your equipment and e-mail messages you send to us.

  • With pixel tags and other similar technologies;
  • IP address;

Sound Frame is committed to treating your data in accordance with the law and in a legitimate way.

Sound Frame’s services are not aimed at minors, and personal data of minors is not intentionally processed.

7 - What are cookies?

Sound Frame will store cookies on your equipment to personalize and facilitate navigation as much as possible, but also for troubleshooting, statistics, quality assurance, and to monitor system security.

Except for cookies specifically necessary for the performance of the website, the storage of other cookies will always depend on the acceptance and consent of the User, and this consent may be withdrawn at all times with specific browser tools.

8 - What are pixel tags and other similar technologies?
Pixel tags (also known as web beacons and clear GIFs) can be used in connection with some services to, for example, track the actions of service users (including email recipients), measure the success of our marketing campaigns as well as compile statistics on the use of our services and response rates.
9 – How do we protect your Personal Data?

Your personal data is kept safe through the adoption of various technical and organizational security measures where only staff and processes that need to have access will have access and only according to rules created for this purpose.

To protect your personal data, we only use data centre suppliers that offer us adequate and documented security measures, namely guarantees that your personal data is stored on servers that are kept in controlled environments with limited access.

Personal data is kept on secure servers, with adequate security guarantees to protect personal data against dissemination, loss, misuse, alteration, processing or unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of unlawful processing.

Likewise, when you browse the WEBSITE, we protect your data with encryption, for example, Transport Layer Security (TLS, is a security protocol that protects telecommunications over the internet) and your password is stored using a one-way hash, that is, it cannot be retrieved (or disclosed) by anyone, including Sound Frame, and can only be reset.

Although we take the care and precautions we feel appropriate to protect the personal data you provide and collect, we must be aware that no security system is impenetrable.

Therefore, you are advised to take certain precautions. For example, you should keep your password secret and not divulge it to anyone; If you believe that your password has been used improperly, you must notify us immediately; you should also be careful to start and end your session each time you close your browser.

10 - How long do we keep your Personal Data?

Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is intended, as listed in this Privacy Policy and outlined below:

Except in compliance with any requirement imposed on us by law, the period of data retention will be as shown. In all other cases, personal data will be kept at most during the times indicated above, periods that Sound Frame considers sufficient to meet the purposes.

After the retention period, all personal data collected will be deleted.

11 - How you can exercise your Rights:

Before explaining how you can exercise your rights, you should know what they are. Thus, the law gives you the right to request us to exercise the following rights:

  • Access: he right to obtain confirmation that the personal data concerning you is or is not being processed and, if that is the case, the right to access your personal data;
  • Rectification: the right to obtain rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and to have your incomplete personal data completed;
  • Erasure: the right to obtain the deletion of your personal data when one of the reasons listed in the legislation applies;
  • Restriction of processing: the right to obtain restriction of processing if one of the situations listed in the legislation applies;
  • Objection: the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you;
  • Portability: the right to receive personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Portugal, the National Data Protection Authority at www.cnpd.pt)

If you ask us to delete some of your personal data or all of it, some of the services requested may not be provided to you and Sound Frame will retain the personal data necessary to comply with the legal obligations to which it is bound.

12 - When do we communicate data to third parties?
Sound Frame may use third parties to provide certain services, in terms of maintenance, technical support, marketing, billing or payment management, which may have access to some personal data, namely, the data necessary for contractual purposes.

Sound Frame ensures that the entities that have access to the data are credible and offer solid guarantees of protection, never transmitting data beyond what is necessary to provide the contracted service. However, Sound Frame remains responsible for the personal data provided.

Sound Frame may also transmit data to third parties in the context of investigations, inquiries and legal and/or administrative proceedings or of a similar nature, provided that it is duly demanded by a court order.

13 - Third-party websites
The WEBSITE may contain links to other websites which may collect and process your personal data, and this processing is the sole responsibility of the owners of those websites, and Sound Frame has no responsibility for its policies and/or practices.
14 - Data transfers to outside the European Uniona

If data transfers to third-party countries that do not belong to the European Union may occur, Sound Frame will comply with legal rules, namely concerning the suitability of the country of destination with regard to the protection of personal data and the requirements which apply to these transfers, with no personal data being transferred to jurisdictions that do not offer guarantees of security and protection.

15 - Minors
The WEBSITE is not aimed at children under 16, so we ask that minors not provide us with personal data through the WEBSITE, the application, social networks and social media or emails.
16 - Sensitive Personal Data
Sound Frame is grateful that you do not send us and do not let us know any sensitive personal data, that is, information that reveals racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union association, genetic information, biometric information, data relating to health or data relating to a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation.

If you still send or make known to us these categories of personal data, they will be immediately deleted.

Sound Frame reserves the right to make adjustments or change this Privacy Policy at any time, and these changes will be made public.
